The record and it’s ways…
To all,
We’ve been putting in the hours and making headway on our upcoming record, “Jumping From Highrises.” The project is an exciting step for us as a band, being our debut release. The record will be available November 12, digitally and on compact disc. Can’t wait to see you when we get there.

expectation…
I recently learned about the “Lizard Brain” thanks to a Mr. Sean Money; & not to mention at the cost of a tangy IPA snorted up the nose… And what was the revelation, or whatever it may have been? Simply “just do it”. Pour yourself into an endeavor, but do not torment yourself over anything! Enjoy what you are doing and don’t fear a failed outcome. Success depends on what you did in the moments that lead up to where you are at! If they were not great moments, then the end product will suffer; it will reflect the misery that you brought with you from the outset. Don’t try and save yourself from failing! If you fail, at least you made a damn good effort to do so.
“things in motion…”
Been placing a lot of things into my brain; most of the world is seemingly crazy, but finding pieces of sense in it all. I have been trying to bolster the strength, direction and conviction of my part in all of it. I feel that i set things in motion for myself; set things right in the face of what seems wrong. I reckon we do what we can, and the more we do it for others, the more strength we find in ourselves to carry on.
In the middle of it all…
Just been working our asses off at the new studio. It finally feels like it is becoming home for us all. It will be good to have a place where we can sit, think, write, record and play our hearts out when we want to turn it up and lose ourselves. I am thinking that it could get a little dangerous even. So comfortable in fact that I might consider sleeping in that room; then wake up and play some more. We’re in the middle of it all; moving, visualizing, contemplating the forms that we might take within the mix… You all keep it moving, and so will I. Don’t get behind and don’t get ahead. Stay right in the middle of it all. Peace - j. brewer “jones”
Fall 2009
Yea; have not written anything in a while, but that’s what we do. We leave for a while and then come back. I think things are really evolving for me and the guys. People get to know each other better and begin to open up in their music and in their lives. There is a big connection between music and life, so i guess it works out well. I thinks that we are all seeing some new direction and the places we want to take this thing. Otherwise we would not be coming up with new inspirations and new tunes, those of which I feel are beginning to define this band even more.
With love, j. Brewer
What’s in store…
Hey guys! Letting you know that we’ll soon be crafting new works in the studio. Looking forward to bringing you new music and inspiration. love all.

gone to the place only you can follow…
It’s a beautiful place close at hand; only in dreams can you walk here while you are awake. It’s while you live in this world that you find these dreams are not apart from reality. Do not confuse your mind from your spirit or you will truly die.
Thanks to everyone who made it out to The Pour House a few nights back. Hope you all had as much fun as we did. Thanks to Jupiter’s Garden for inviting us to join the party.

Work
One of the most important things a human can have and hold onto is work ethic. Hands down. Without one we crumble to pieces; all of our ambitions, hopes and dreams become a pile of shit. Think about that one.
Currently …
We did this gig with the band the other night. I was high for while. Still am. We got to kill it together, whether we made mistakes or not. We still killed it and I am a better person from it. What we have to do is make each other better as we go. Practiced my a** off on Sunday and as a result I realize more and more what it is to challenge myself. Been in the headphones for a while and gonna give my ears a rest with some Chinese food.
I love playing music and spending time with these guys in the band. Amazing musicians and people. It’s been a blessing to have Rob playing with us. A great practice tonight with creative energy from all players.
Sat in on a photo shoot this afternoon. Watched Sean take shots with various cameras. It is always really exciting to see the different aspects that go into this evolution of a band. It’s a lot of fun and also a lot of work. Can’t wait to see what Sean does with his work.
Listen …
I feel like as artists it’s important for each of us to sit back and listen to (or look at) our work from an outside point of view. Only we have been there for all of the work and evolution. Then we can see what we have created, not how we created it. It is a relief for me to be able to look at it that way. I am always proud of what we do as a band. I just know that we will always strive to achieve the best work possible. Peace and patience.
Getting prepped for a lot of performances this summer and fall. Been cleaning out the cobwebbs in my head and crossing enemy lines with my fingers.
